Indian Armed Forces Join Multinational Exercise Bright Star 2025 in Egypt to Enhance Interoperability

The Indian Army, along with personnel from the Navy, Air Force, and Integrated Defence Staff, has joined Exercise Bright Star 2025 in Egypt with US.

The Indian Army, along with personnel from the Navy, Air Force, and Integrated Defence Staff, has joined Exercise Bright Star 2025. This major multinational tri-service military drill is hosted by Egypt in partnership with the United States. It runs from August 28 to September 10 and includes around 700 Indian military personnel. This showcases India’s growing role in global defense cooperation.

 

Exercise Bright Star aims to improve cooperation, tactical coordination, and operational readiness among the armed forces of the participating nations. India’s involvement shows its commitment to strengthening defense relationships with countries in the Middle East, Africa, and beyond.

 

Indian troops are taking part in a variety of activities, including joint battlefield maneuvers, amphibious operations, air defense drills, and humanitarian aid simulations. The training focuses on building trust, sharing best practices, and improving the effectiveness of combined operations in complex environments.
