Security forces arrested a terrorist and seized arms and ammunition during a joint cordon-and-search operation in Bikheryan area in Jammu’s Doda dist.

JAMMU: Security forces arrested a terrorist and seized arms and ammunition during a joint cordon-and-search operation in Bikheryan area in Jammu’s Doda district on Friday.
IGP (Jammu Zone) Mukesh Singh said, “The terrorist, Firdous Ahmed, was apprehended from his residence with three Chinese pistols, two magazines, 15 rounds and a silencer.”
The anti-terror operation was jointly carried out by the Army, J&K Police, Sashastra Seema Bal and CRPF based on an intelligence input, the IGP added.
