Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Shringla to Visit UK on July 23-24

Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla will embark on a two-day visit to the United Kingdom on Friday, the Ministry of External Affairs announced. During his visit, the Foreign Secretary is scheduled to meet with his counterparts and conduct a detailed review of bilateral relations with a focus on the implementation of Roadmap 2030, MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said.

"Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla will visit the UK on July 23-24. During his visit, he will meet with his counterparts and conduct a detailed review of bilateral relations with an emphasis on the execution of Roadmap 2030. He will also discuss regional and global issues," Bagchi stated during a press conference.

"Both countries have adopted an ambitious Roadmap 2030 to elevate bilateral ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership. The Foreign Secretary will meet his counterparts to lead a point-by-point review of the bilateral connection between the nations," Bagchi said.

During the briefing, the MEA spokesperson also provided an update on countries easing travel restrictions for India. "We have been engaging with foreign nations on the need to ease travel restrictions for Indians. We believe this easing will be a significant step," Bagchi said.
