16 Bihar Regiment is a unit of the Indian Army’s infantry Regiment. Its parent Bihar regiment was established in 1941 and formed by regularising the 11th Territorial Battalion, the 19th Hyderabad Battalion, and some other new-raising battalions.
The Bihar Regimental Centre is located in Danapur Cantonment, Patna, Bihar. This is also known as the second-oldest cantonment in India.
